The Musashi Philosophy
At Musashi, philosophy is more than words; it’s the spirit that guides everything we create. Rooted in the Japanese tradition of Monozukuri, the art of craftsmanship with dedication to every step of the process, our philosophy connects our past to our future. Built on three pillars, it is both our foundation and our compass as we continue to shape mobility for the world.
Our Origin, Our Purpose, and Our Way.
Together, they define who we are, why we exist, and how we move forward. None can be separated from the others, they must be understood as a unified whole that gives Musashi its enduring strength.

The Founder
Yoshiharu Otsuka
The story of Musashi begins with our founder, Yoshiharu Otsuka, whose vision was grounded in three timeless values: Simplicity, Sturdiness, and Consistent Sincerity. He reminded us:
“Throughout history, many companies have risen and fallen. But few united by simplicity, sturdiness, and sincerity have disappeared. We must never forget this.””
This legacy, passed down through generations, remains the foundation of Musashi’s character and the source of our resilience.
Corporate Identity
Our corporate mark brings our philosophy to life. Three interlinked circles represent Passion, Wisdom, and Harmony, coming together to symbolize an enriched world.
The bold typeface reflects our spirit of being simple, sturdy, and sincere, while the rising line from "A" to "i" signals steady growth and progress toward the future.

Whether in horizontal or vertical form, our mark is a reminder of who we are and the values that drive us forward.
Corporate Color
Musashi corporate colors are "Musashi Red" and "Musashi Black". The bright red represents "Passion, Innovation, Challenge" and the strong black represents "a sense of mission, will, and determination."
MUSASHI RED
[passion • innovation • challenge]
MUSASHI BLACK
[a sense of mission • will • and determination]
Breaking Barriers, Building The Future
As we look to Musashi’s 100th anniversary in 2038, we see ourselves not just as manufacturers, but as adventurers — breaking through limitations and charting new paths.
Guided by our philosophy, we commit to building a world where people and the Earth coexist in prosperity and harmony.
