Musashi Seimitsu Industry Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as "MUSASHI"), may on occasion obtain, utilize and/or manage personal information, which may identify specific individuals or may identify specific individuals through simple matching with other information (hereafter referred to as "personal information"; other words and terms regarding this Privacy Policy will conform to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information). When MUSASHI obtains/utilizes/manages such personal information, MUSASHI shall strictly comply with the law, including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Law") to protect personal information. Based upon MUSASHI's belief that it is a social responsibility to handle personal information correctly while respecting the intentions of each individual as much as possible, MUSASHI shall also work to promote the following efforts:

  1. Protection of personal information and security management measures
    1. MUSASHI shall comply with the law concerning privacy, including the Personal Information Protection Law.
    2. MUSASHI shall conduct the protection, utilization and strict management of personal information. MUSASHI may occasionally provide subcontractors with personal data (meaning personal information which constitutes a "personal database, etc."; the same meaning shall apply hereafter) within the range of utilization purposes. When this occurs, MUSASHI shall enter into an agreement with the subcontractors regarding confidentiality and personal information to prohibit the use of personal information for purposes other than those mentioned above, take appropriate actions such as having subcontractors take security management measures and supervise all subcontractors.
  2. Handling Personal Information
    1. Purpose of use of obtained personal information
      MUSASHI may occasionally obtain a USER's personal information such as name, address, telephone number, facsimile number, Email address, age, sex, occupation, bank account, etc.
      When directly obtaining written personal information from the USERs themselves via a form, or when obtaining such information legally through other methods, MUSASHI shall use the obtained personal information for the following purposes:
      1. To provide MUSASHI's products and services.*
      2. To provide information regarding MUSASHI's products and services.*
      3. To refine and improve MUSASHI's products and services.*
      4. To purchase raw materials, materials, equipment and services.
      5. To establish safety management within MUSASHI's premises.
      6. To create various membership lists and to distribute them.
      7. To respond to inquiries made to MUSASHI.
      8. To enforce rights and the fulfillment of obligations based upon corporate law.
      9. To extend various facilities from issuing corporations, to the position of a shareholder.
      10. Within the relationship of a shareholder and a company, to carry out various measures in order to facilitate a good relationship.
      11. For shareholder management, including the creation of shareholders' data through predefined standards, based upon various related laws.
      12. To carry out recruitment activities.
      13. To perform employment management.
      14. To make contact.
      15. To create a name list for the purpose of making emergency contact and to distribute the list.
    2. Third party provision
      In cases where the fulfillment of usage purposes of personal information requires exceeding the limitation, MUSASHI shall never provide any personal data to third parties, without obtaining prior consent from the USERs themselves, except in cases of 1 to 4 of the following:
      1. In cases where personal information is handled based upon law.
      2. In cases where it is necessary to protect a person's life, physical well-being and/or assets, but obtaining consent from the USERs themselves is extremely difficult.
      3. In cases where it is necessary for the improvement of public hygiene or for the promotion of the healthy development of children, but obtaining consent from the USERs themselves is extremely difficult.
      4. In cases where cooperation with state institutions or local public authorities and/or their subcontractors is necessary to carry out office duties as required by law, and obtaining consent from the USERs themselves may risk the carrying out of such office duties.
    3. Disclosure procedures
      With regard to personal data which MUSASHI holds, in cases where disclosure, correction, and discontinuation of use of such data are requested, from the perspectives of preventing information leakage and securing accuracy, MUSASHI shall conduct the necessary investigations without delay. MUSASHI, then, only when it has been confirmed that such a request was made by the owner of such data himself/herself, shall take the necessary procedures of disclosure, correction or discontinuation of use within a reasonable time period.
